This is my Pagoda Bedroom. The color scheme is pale blue, ivory, silver, and gold. The centerpiece is of course the gold leaf pagoda canopy bed. My main tip for the bedroom is to put your $$ into the bed. I personally love canopy beds. Buy a great mattress. I recently purchased the Heavenly Bed and it really is heavenly. I have outfitted it with goose down pillows and duvet, Frette and Pratesi sheets, the whole nine yards. And if you have high thread count cottons sheets, do yourself a favor and have them professionally laundered and pressed. Such a time saver and you won't believe the difference.
