The newest health data apps and products focused on consumers, care and communities converged in Washington, D.C. last week to share knowledge and grow business.
Breakout sessions at the 2012 Health Data Initiative Forum, known as "Datapalooza," explored key challenges facing the health-care industry these days, such as:
"How can we capture the value of health data in a changing health-care environment?"
New paradigms in health care -- a shift in accountable care models, a focus on patient health behaviors and choices and an emphasis on evidence-based medicine -- are creating exciting new ventures.
