This is a totally boring How I Wore It, but I have been DYING to tell you all about my new Gap maternity jean discovery. I. Am. Smitten. I have been looking for a good pair of skinny pregnancy jeans since I was pregnant with Squish, and three years later, I found them! If you are pregnant or about to become pregnant, look no further than Gap's 1969 Nude Full Panel Always Skinny Medium Wash Jeans. Everything about them is perfection! They stay tight throughout the entire leg and booty, they don't sag, the panel stays in place - I literally cannot say one bad thing about them except I am mad I didn't find them sooner!
{My new favorite bracelets and I don't even know the brand! I will find out...}
Now, I have another pair of Gap maternity skinny jeans - link here - that are no bueno. The only difference is they have the Demi Panel and are Dark Wash, but still called 1969 Always Skinny Jeans. I even have these in a size 0, and the Full Panel good ones in a size 1, and the 0s are waaaaay too lose, baggy, saggy, and everything else you don't want jeans to be when you're pregnant. There is a HUGE difference in the fit {tons of the reviews echoed this as well when comparing the two styles}, so definitely stick with the full panel!
Also, most customer reviews online for the Full Panel said to order a size up from what you would wear pre-pregnancy. I listened and instead of a size zero I ordered a size one, and they are perfect. I could have even gone with a two. A zero would have been too tight for sure. I'll do a better outfit soon, and in the meantime, happy shopping!
ps. Just as a side note, I do have other maternity jeans that I think are great, but none are skinny that work well like these do. Juicy makes a great pair of white ones with a low panel, and Paige Denim has a great boot cut pair with a full panel. I haven't given either of those a second thought since these turned up in my closet though ;)
